While the food trucks are rolling, the stage in Veterans Park will be rocking on Aug. 20 during the 8th Springfield Rotary Food Gourmet Truck Competition.
“For many in the community the event has become a day-long tradition that includes much more than a meal,” said Eddie Bell, Rotary member and Food Truck Competition marketing committee chair. “We’ve lined up bands that will appeal to a diverse array of musical tastes throughout the entire day. So in addition to your hunger, make sure you bring your lawn chairs, blankets, canopy tents, and your dancing shoes to take advantage of all the competition has to offer.”
