Calling all food trucks! Put forth your tastiest signature dish for a chance at winning several cash prizes at the 2023 Springfield Rotary Gourmet Food Truck Competition to be held Saturday, Aug. 19, 2023 from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. in Veterans Park in Springfield, Ohio. 

Applications are currently being accepted for food truck vendors for our 9th competition that features $10,000 in prizes, including

• 1st Prize – $5,000
• 2nd Prize – $2,500
• 3rd Prize – $1,500
• People’s Choice Award – $1,000

Over 10,000 attendees flock to Veterans Park in Springfield every year for this community-favorite event, where they’ll purchase from your full menu for you to retain 100 percent of your sales.

All vendors chosen to compete will be recognized through featured posts at springfieldfoodtruck.com and the event’s social media channels; news releases; select feature stories and event listings in local and regional publications.

Applications will be accepted through April 30. An electronic image of your food truck, and at least one website/social media account representing your truck must be submitted with your application.

Acceptance of an application is at the sole discretion of the Rotary Club of Springfield. Factors the selection committee considers include, but are not limited to:

• Gourmet aspiration and execution, as evidenced by the submitted menu and available customer reviews.
• Scores by tasting judges and consumer judges at previous Springfield Rotary Gourmet Food Truck Competitions.
• Visual appeal of photographs submitted by applicants.
• Diversity of food offerings at the event. 

This successful regional event is also a major fundraiser for the Springfield Rotary Club, with proceeds going toward services to people with disabilities, support of local charities/nonprofits/teachers, Polio Plus (for the worldwide eradication of Polio) and the International Project in Lesotho.
